Ready, Set, Take-Off!

imageThe milestone countdown on my profile has come to an end. This means the big day is here.. YIKES!

I’m at the Rafic Hariri International Airport headed to Nikola Tesla International Airport on Air Serbia airlines. I’ve never been on this airlines before and I don’t know anyone who has, so fingers are crossed, and hopefully it will go smoothly. It’s relatively a short flight (a bit under 3 hrs) compared to the flights I’ve been on to Australia so not much to worry about. And don’t worry, I’ll definitely share my experience about the airlines after I arrive. I also have my dad accompanying me, and staying for a couple of days, so that’s gonna make the transition easier.

I said all my goodbyes and I really didn’t know what it would be like till I said good-bye to every single person. I miss my family and friends, already, and I haven’t even left the country yet! But I am ecstatic to be finally beginning this long talked about adventure. I’ve been counting down for 20 days now and sharing my experience in researching and preparing for this trip with you and it’s about time to begin it, right? If you missed my old posts you can find them here.

The down side is that we’ll arrive 5:50 am and have to wait an hour and a half for the first shuttle to take us to Slavija square – but if the duty free is good I won’t be upset at all! Plus I’d rather arrive early so I can start my day as early as possible and make good use of it 🙂

I can’t stop explaining how excited I am and all the worries I shared with you before are at a maximum but it’s time to spice things up and finally have great moments to share on the blog! So today I say Dobrodošao to my adventure that’s starting just this moment 🙂

Stay tuned to my blog it’s all just getting started! Follow me by email or using your own wordpress account. And you can always contact me here with your own experiences, I’m loving the stories I’m getting ❤
